Chef Patron | Head Chef
William Rocks
William took on the incumbent role as Chef Patron in April 2021 and helped the Tigh and Truish earn not one, but two AA Rosettes and five star status as an Inn. William's upbringing is that of farming community in central Scotland, leading him into the culinary world with the respect of rearing livestock. During Covid-19 Lockdown in 2020 William dedicated his 'free' time to learning the butchery trade and is now qualified as a Master Butcher. He has a real life 'Farm to Fork' understanding.
Sous Chef
Lewis Macleod
Lewis started with the Tigh An Truish in 2022 with a modern apprenticeship. To date, Lewis has competed in several competitions showcasing his talents and has catapulted into our Sous Chef position. You will now find Lewis leading our kitchen team and designing our Menus. If you've ever dined with us, it's more than likely this incredible chef has been the one to cook your meal for you and left you wanting more!

With our team being mostly locals, we at the Tigh An Truish truly adore the area and take much pride in what we do. We couldn't ask for better people to stand as representatives for not only the Tigh An Truish, but as representatives for the Isle of Seil.
